Prelude Dark Pain Early Access: Current Content and 1.0 Timing
The July 27 Early Access release includes the complete first act, nine playable heroes, about 63 skills, an explorable world map, cutscenes, and the Forge. The developer estimates 12–15 hours for this content and is aiming for roughly one year of Early Access, but there is no confirmed 1.0 date.

You do not need a controller: mouse and keyboard are implemented in Early Access, and a developer confirmed that the mouse works in tactical combat. The game was designed controller-first, so the developer still recommends a controller for the intended experience.

Steam lists Windows 10, 8 GB RAM, a GTX 750 Ti or RX 460, and 6 GB of free storage as the minimum. It does not currently list macOS or Linux support; it does list full controller support and ten interface/subtitle languages.
